Lindon Police investigating the death of a 16-year-old

LINDON, Utah — The Lindon Police Department is investigating the death of a 16-year-old that occurred in the early hours of Monday, Aug. 1.

Law enforcement personnel say the incident took place in the Lindon View Park/Murdock Trailhead area. Authorities say based on information they have received, they believe the public is not at danger.

Due to the ongoing investigation, the identity of the victim is not being released. Additionally, no other details are being released at this time due to the investigation.

Anyone who has information on the incident is asked to call Lindon Police at 801-769-8600.
