Salt Lake City police, fire pull abandoned car from Jordan River

SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City police are hoping you can help them find out how a car wound up in the Jordan River.
The fire department helped them pull the car out of the river near 300 South Glendale Street this morning. It hadn’t been reported stolen and it was found empty. If you know what happened, you should contact the police department at 801-799-3000.
