Woman killed in Idaho crash after colliding with truck driven by Utah man

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — The Idaho State Police say a 28-year-old woman from Twin Falls died Saturday following a crash, in which the vehicle she was driving struck another vehicle, driven by a 40-year-old man from Utah.
According to a news release, the ISP says the incident occurred at East 3900 North west of State Highway 50 in Twin Falls County. Authorities also say the incident occurred at 11:46 a.m.
The release says the 28-year-old victim was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on East 3900 North when it collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado that was pulling a camp trailer. The Silverado was parked on the right shoulder of the highway at the time of incident.
The release states the driver of the Silverado is from “Jordan, Utah.” The woman was not wearing a seatbelt and passed away from her injuries at the scene. Her three juvenile passengers were transported to a nearby hospital. The juveniles were all wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident, according to the release.
Traffic on East 3900 North was blocked for roughly five hours.
The ISP is asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact its District 4 Office at 208-324-6000.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
