WEST VALLEY — Three teens are in police custody Sunday after a shooting left one teen with life-threatening injuries, West Valley police said.
Police were dispatched to 3500 S. Constitution Boulevard in West Valley on reports of a shooting Sunday at about 8:30 p.m., West Valley police Sgt. Andrew Steinbrecher told KSL-TV.
A 15-year-old male was shot in the leg, police said. While the injury was considered life-threatening, the boy is expected to survive, West Valley police said. The boy is still receiving medical treatment as of Sunday evening, police said.
Three other teens have been taken into police custody, West Valley police said. The police added they believe they have everyone involved in custody.
Police also say there is no further danger to the public.
