SALT LAKE CITY — A Florida woman made headlines this week after filing a class-action lawsuit against Frontier Airlines over their bag policy.
As reported by local Florida news outlets, the woman alleged that Frontier’s policy is misleading and accused the airline of “bait-and -switch” tactics.
The woman said she was forced to check her bag for $100 — which was almost the cost of her plane ticket — in order to board her flight.
But the woman said she had traveled with the same bag in the past without ever having to check it.
