Update: South Salt Lake Police Department finds missing fourteen-year-old

SALT LAKE CITY — In a Facebook post, the South Salt Lake Police Department announced that the search for a fourteen-year-old girl is over.

According to the post, the missing child was found in the early hours of Monday morning. The child initially went missing on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The girl, who had no history of running away, was found safe. No other details were immediately available.
