WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah — The Grand County Sheriff’s office reports that Highway 191 has reopened and that a man who’d barricaded himself from officials throughout the morning on Friday is in custody.
Earlier, officials said a situation on Highway 191 south of Moab was related to a homicide discovered Friday morning in a Lowe’s parking lot in Bountiful.
On its Facebook page, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office said the highway was closed due to a barricaded homicide suspect. They asked people to avoid the area.
West Bountiful police say that Jake Jackson is a person of interest in the homicide discovered Friday morning.
