Salt Lake police investigating a crash involving an ambulance

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating a crash involving a Unified Fire Authority ambulance at 2700 South and 700 East.
SLCPD said the ambulance had its lights and sirens on because it was headed to a call.

Fortunately, there are only minor injuries. The ambulance did not roll-over and it did not have a patient inside, just the fire crew.

According to the SLCPD, the road will have minor impacts for about an hour and a half. There were no patients in the ambulance, but there were members of the fire crew on board and they reportedly suffered minor injuries.
