One man dead after Brigham City car crash and fire

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — One man is dead following a fatal crash and fire in Brigham City Saturday night.
According to a press release, the Brigham City Police Department and the Brigham City Fire Department responded to a report of a car crashing into a building at approximately 9:30 p.m. The crash was located at 807 W. Forest St.
Witnesses told police that 20-year-old Brendyn Miller from Riverdale crashed into the building and struck the gas line. This caused Miller’s vehicle to catch fire and the building to collapse onto it. Miller was the only occupant of the vehicle.
800 W. between 50 S. and Forest is closed at this time.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown. Police and firefighters are investigating the incident.
