Driver freed from vehicle after crashing, rolling into Provo car dealership

PROVO, Utah — A man had to be freed from his SUV after crashing into a car dealership on Thursday morning. The crash happened near 1695 North and State St. in Provo.
According to the Provo Police Department, a black SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed. It jumped a curb, launching into a nearby dealership.
In a press release, Provo PD stated the SUV hit numerous parked cars at the dealership. It rolled and landed on its roof.
The driver was described as a 28-year-old man. After the Provo car dealership crash, first responders freed the man. He was transported to Utah Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators remain on-scene. Because the incident was contained to private property, there have been no related road closures or delays.
