BOISE, Idaho — The jury is out again in Chad Daybell’s trial. The jurors convicted Daybell of three murders on Thursday and must now decide whether he’ll face the death penalty.
KSL legal analyst Greg Skordas shares his thoughts on the sentencing phase:
Earlier on Friday, Daybell’s defense team said it would not present mitigating factors ahead of his sentencing. The decision means Daybell will not defend himself against the factors the state used to argue he should be put on death row.
