Free Sundance summer screenings return to Utah

On July of 2024, The Sundance Institute is bringing back to Utah the Sundance Film Festival films with their free summer screening series called "Local Lens." (Sundance Institute)

PARK CITY, Utah — The 2024 Sundance Film Festival has released more information about its free summer screenings program in Utah.
“The Sundance Film Festival: Local Lens” program will take place July 17 through July 21, 2024, in Park City, Salt Lake City, and West Valley City, Utah.
According to the Sundance Institute, the program will feature indoor and outdoor screenings of some of the most popular films from the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
Sundance Films summer venues and other events
In Park City, the venue locations include The Ray Theatre and City Park. In Salt Lake City, the screenings will be offered at Gallivan Center, Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre, and Broadway Centre Cinema.
In West Valley City, the Local Lens screenings will be shown at the Megaplex Theatres at Valley Fair Mall.
Besides the screening, Sundance will offer the “Filmmaking Deep Dive” event for filmmakers, where they can connect with fellow creatives and pitch their projects to experts for feedback and insight.
