Woman hospitalized after house was shot at in Glendale neighborhood

SALT LAKE CITY — A 55-year-old is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot on Saturday in the Glendale neighborhood.
Police received information about a shooting near Concord Street and California Ave. at 10:45 p.m., according to a Salt Lake City Police Department press release.
Police said they were told “two people approached a house and began shooting into it.” That’s when the woman was shot, police said the motive to shoot at the house is currently unknown.
The woman was treated at a hospital for serious non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the SLCPD Gang Unit is taking the lead on the investigation of this case.
SLCPD is asking those who may have any information on the case to call 801-799-3000. Those who report the case should reference the case number 24-183102. Police also said that people who may have information on the case can submit an anonymous tip using the CityProtect App.
