Sgt. Sean Endsley with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office said the 911 call came from a “family member” at 9:47 p.m. Following this, officers arrived on the scene.
They found that a 32-year-old woman, a 4-year-old boy, a 2-year-old girl and a 1-year-old girl were all dead inside a car.
Lt. Terance Lavely with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office said police found a handgun inside that car.
In terms of a suspect, Lavely said there’s no threat to the public. He said police believe everything happened inside that car.
Lavely said at this point, they are awaiting official autopsy results and still need to talk to friends and family and comb social media. The woman is local to the area but police gave no other details about her or the children.
“Investigators are still working on the circumstances that surrounded these deaths,” Endsley said. (They) are still working on active leads and processing the scene.”
