OGDEN, Utah — Are you brave enough to stay in a haunted hotel room? For decades, the Bigelow in Ogden has been the center of paranormal and haunted rumors.
Now you can find out for yourself. Hotel Event Coordinator, Cornel Thomas says they’ve opened up their most haunted hotel room as an Airbnb.
Originally built in the 1920’s, most rooms of the hotel have now been converted into apartments, except for room 1102. The room with known paranormal activities never became an apartment.
Residents and guests near the room say their dogs often bark at seemingly nothing.
“They do say there are weird things [that] happen. Especially those with pets. That the pets will like bark at the corner of the room,” Thomas said.
However, its not just the one room people claim that is haunted.
“People say, the ballroom is haunted as well,” said Thomas.
Guest can also visit these areas for themselves.
According to Thomas, a medium recently visited the hotel.
“He [the medium] was saying that there was a spirit in there,” he said.
And for extra chills, the room comes equipped with old horror movies, just to make sure the mood is right.
So, if you’re a fan of phantoms, you can spend the night with spirits at a pretty reasonable price. Additionally, guest can book a short tour of the hotel during their stay.
