The Utah Highway Patrol reported one of its troopers was nearly hit head-on while driving down the road on Wednesday morning.
In a Facebook post, the trooper’s dash camera showed a vehicle driving down a single lane road. A car coming the opposite direction crossed the middle line and almost hit the UHP vehicle, swerving out of the way at the last second.
Officials say the oncoming driver cleared a very small area of frost from his windshield, about the size of a baseball. This resulted in reduced visibility.
UHP is now asking everyone to clear their window of snow, ice and frost before hitting the roads.
