Wrong-way crash kills one and closes down I-15 in SLC

SALT LAKE CITY — One person has died after a wrong-way crash in SLC on southbound I-15 early Thursday morning. According to reports, a truck driving north in the southbound lanes hit a bus loaded with military personnel at about 400 North.
 
The driver of the truck died on the scene and is identified as a 46-year-old man. The 23 ROTC cadets on the bus from Utah State University were not injured. However, their driver went to the hospital with minor injuries. 

 

The wrong-way crash closed southbound I-15 at 600 North in SLC for several hours.
