Springville police investigating fatal crash involving 4 vehicles

SALT LAKE CITY — Police in Springville have identified the driver that was killed in a crash involving four vehicles on 1400 N. Main Street on Monday.
In a statement, Springville police said Christopher Caru Warden, age 79, died in the crash. Further, they said he was the president of the Utah Krishnas.
According to Springville Police, a vehicle traveling south approaching 1400 North left its lane and collided with oncoming traffic at around 2:20 p.m. When medical professionals arrived at the scene, Warden, the southbound driver, “could not be revived” and died at the scene.
According to Patrick Monney, a Springville official, there were no life-threatening injuries of the other passengers in the vehicle, or the driver of the other vehicles. No one was transported to the hospital.
