PROVO, Utah — Beauty and wellness multilevel marketing company, Nu Skin said it has laid off 5% of its employees across the country.
A spokesperson for the Provo-founded company said 5% of Provo employees have been impacted by the layoff. The exact number is not known at this time.
In November the company announced it had “softer than expected” third-quarter results.
“Although we are disappointed in the third quarter results … we are encouraged by stabilization and modest growth in three of our Nu Skin reporting segments, highlighted by double-digit gains in Europe/Africa,” said Ryan Napierski, president and CEO of the company in a press release.
