No injuries reported in structure fire in Pleasant View

PLEASANT VIEW, Utah — Weber County fire officials responded to a structure fire Friday in Pleasant View.
In a posting on Facebook, the North View Fire District says the incident occurred in the area of 4200 N. 250 West.
When emergency personnel arrived on scene, they discovered heavy smoke coming from a basement window. They also noticed smoke coming from the vents in the attic.
Once fire crews were able to cool the fire from the exterior, they made an aggressive attack on the fire from the interior to put it out. Officials say there were no injuries reported from the fire. Additionally, no residents of the home were present at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. However, officials say the estimated cost of the damage is roughly $450,000.
