Firefighter injured while fighting Forsyth Fire

SALT LAKE CITY —  A firefighter has been injured in a fall while battling the Forsyth Fire.

According to Dammeron Valley Fire and Rescue, medical teams stabilized the patient who was taken by helicopter to St. George Regional Hospital. The patient is expected to make a full recovery.

 

The Forsyth Fire was started by lightning and has been burning since June 19 near Pine Valley, Utah, about 30 miles north of St. George.
