SALT LAKE CITY — An entire country tries to figure out whether Donald Trump’s cryptic comments threatened a Civil War- just like the movie.
Supporters say that what he said was taken out of context. You decide.
Was he saying there’s gonna be a bloodbath if he’s not elected? Or was he saying there’s going to be a bloodbath in the auto industry if he’s not elected?
Fight amongst yourselves but as we hear about bloodbath, we’re about to get the movie we don’t need. It’s called Civil War. The movie’s out on April 12th.
In this version, California and Texas secede and form the Western Alliance. This would seem most unlikely, but the point is they go to war on the rest of the country pitting American against American.
The trailer is full of battle scenes as this unlikely alliance lays waste to Washington landmarks. Troops have to decide whose side they’re on and whether they’re willing to die over it.
Or maybe it’s the movie we need right now.
Maybe it’ll show us how badly we need to avoid bloodbaths. Maybe it’ll inflame and inspire some people in the worst way imaginable.
Civil War drops on April 12th.
Maybe it’ll bomb.
