9-year-old dies after being hit by golf cart in St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah — A nine-year-old child is dead after being hit by a golf cart on the evening of May 4.

According to Tiffany Mitchell with St. George Police Department, the child was riding an electric scooter near Flycatcher Drive. He drove in front of a 12-year-old, who was operating a golf cart and got hit.

According to Mitchell, the child was airlifted to Las Vegas with life-threatening injuries.
