DPS said Eliecer Ramirez-Morelos was driving a Nissan Xterra, and while he was making a left-hand turn to go eastbound, a semitruck T-boned the Nissan going west.
“The driver and only occupant of the Xterra sustained fatal injuries,” DPS stated.
A GoFundMe page that was created to help the Ramirez-Morelos’ family with costs related to his death said he moved to the United States in 2017 to help his family, who are still in Mexico.
According to the GoFundMe, Ramirez-Morelos’ family is looking to use the funds raised from the account to help bring his body back to Mexico.
