FARMINGTON — Police are looking for suspects involved in a Farmington home burglary on Saturday night.

The Farmington Police Department responded to a report of a residential burglary in progress near 1400 North and Ridgewood Circle, arriving on scene around 8:45 p.m.

A neighbor told KSL TV that her street was “covered in police cars” around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.

According to police, the suspects fled the scene shortly after they received a call for help. On Monday, police said they saw possible suspects on Saturday night, and that they believe more than one person was involved.

Additionally, police said no injuries or weapons were reported during the incident.

Shelter-in-place warning issued after attempted Farmington home burglary

Police initiated “significant containment and search efforts,” as well as a shelter-in-place notification for the surrounding neighborhood.

On Monday, Farmington Police Chief Austin Anderson recommended that residents of Davis County visit the county’s web page and sign up for emergency alert notifications.
