Homicide on Interstate 15 under investigation by Idaho State Police

BINGHAM COUNTY, Idaho – A homicide involving a deceased male with a gunshot wound along the side of Interstate 15 is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
According to a press release from the ISP, the male was found Friday night along Interstate 15 near Mile Marker 85.
The press release stated that ISP troopers discovered a white 2008 Toyota Camry stopped on the shoulder with its hazard lights on.
When troopers stopped to assist the driver, they found the body of a 31-year-old male from Utah with a gunshot wound, according to ISP.
ISP troopers said northbound Interstate 15 was temporarily closed overnight during the investigation, but has since been open.
The Bingham County Coroner’s Office ruled the death as a homicide, but has not yet released the identity of the male.
