Pair of single-car rollovers injures four individuals, claims the life of another

ST. GEORGE, Utah — A one-car rollover in southern Utah in the early hours of Sunday claimed the life of one man, while injuring two others.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on northbound I-15 near milepost 71 just before 2:30 a.m. A Toyota minivan, for reasons unknown, left the roadway and entered the median. It rolled several times before coming to a stop.
The passenger in the front seat suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
Another passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He along with another individual (the driver) were transported to an area hospital.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Garland rollover
Another single-vehicle rollover occurred Sunday evening near Garland.
According to the Garland Fire Department, the crash happened on northbound I-15 near milepost 382 just before 7:15 p.m. There were two individuals in the car at the time of the incident. One was ejected, while the other was trapped inside, and had to be extricated.
Both victims were transported to the hospital. One is listed in critical condition, while the other is in serious condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and is being handled by the Utah Highway Patrol. Traffic was impacted for about an hour as first responders cleared the scene.
