A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car in Midvale Sunday morning, according to police.
SALT LAKE CITY – A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car in Midvale Sunday morning, according to police.
At around 6:25 a.m., emergency medical services responded to a report of an auto-pedestrian crash at 7200 South and 200 West.
According to Sgt. Aymee Race of the Unified Police Department, the pedestrian had the right of way, but the driver, making a left-hand turn, did not see them due to low visibility.
The driver stayed at the scene and worked with the police. There were no signs of impairment, and no arrest was made, Race said.
