SALT LAKE CITY — A semitruck carrying mail went up in fire after hitting into a crash attenuator on SB I-15 in Springville on Saturday.
According to Corporal Michael Gordon with Utah Highway Patrol, the semitruck became fully engulfed in flames after hitting the attenuator.
“I think [the investigators] said they were investigating fatigue as a factor,” Gordon said.
A group of Springville firefighters stared working on extinguishing the fire from 1:40 a.m.
At 7 a.m. a new shift of firefighters came in to keep working on extinguishing the fire, according to a statement made on the Springville Fire Department Facebook page.
Traffic is now up and moving in the area and there were no injuries reported from the crash.

According to Amazon, if a package is undeliverable a person can check their order online and let the company know the package was undeliverable.
In a similar incident in Georgia, U.S. Postal Service advised people expecting packages to get a hold of the sender and let them know what happened to the package.
