Vehicle rollover on US-189 blocks multiple lanes

SALT LAKE CITY — A vehicle rollover on US-189 near Charleston Road temporarily blocked all traffic traveling in both directions on Tuesday afternoon.
The Utah Department of Transportation announced the crash shortly after 3 p.m., estimating that the crash would be cleared within the next hour and a half.

Lt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol said a pick up truck rear ended a semi truck. After the crash, the pick up rolled over and hit another semi.
Roden said the driver of the pick up was taken to the hospital in bravo condition.

Southbound lanes were closed while northbound lanes alternated to allow traffic to flow.
