Weber County structure fire under investigation

SALT LAKE CITY — According to the Weber Fire District, a structure fire that broke out Friday morning is under investigation.
In a Facebook post from the Weber FD, the fire broke out at 7:30 a.m. in west Weber County.
Upon arrival, Weber FD said they saw heavy smoke and “rapidly deteriorating conditions” as they worked to find the source of the fire.
The fire was contained in a single room, and fire crews took “swift actions” to put it out, according to the post.
The residents, including multiple animals, were safely evacuated from the structure.
“Two individuals and one Sheriff’s Deputy were treated on scene for smoke inhalation and released,” the post said.
The post stated crews from Weber Fire District, Hill Air Force Base, and the Weber County Sheriff’s Office responded to the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Weber Fire District’s Fire Marshal’s Office.
