UDOT warns of on-ramp closures in Salt Lake City and Holladay

Traffic moves through the construction zone for the Bangerter Highway interchange at 12600 South in Riverton on Thursday, April 15, 2021. The Utah Department of Transportation will work on 185 projects in 2021, with a value of $3.45 billion over the life of the projects, many of which span multiple years.
HOLLADAY, Utah — UDOT plans to close multiple freeway on-ramps in Holladay and Salt Lake City as soon as tonight.
The UDOT Renewed Project Team will close the southbound I-215 on-ramp Monday, June 20. The on-ramp will be closed until early August 2022.
UDOT plans to completely reconstruct the on-ramp. Residents of the surrounding area should expect increased noise and vibration due to the construction.

Additionally, the eastbound I-80 on-ramp in Salt Lake City will close overnight on Monday, June 20, and Tuesday, June 21, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for utility work.
During these closures, eastbound I-80 can be accessed from the on-ramp at 700 E.
