Semi-truck rolls on I-80 at U.S.-40, Silver Creek Junction

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — A semi-truck rolled Sunday on I-80 at U.S.-40, Silver Creek Junction.

The incident caused all east-bound lanes to temporarily close.

Driver Alert: A crash on EB I-80 at MP 147 has closed EB I-80 at US-40, Silver Creek Jct in Summit County. Expect major delays, use an alternate route. For updates check the UDOT Traffic App or @waze. @UtahTrucking @UDOTRegionTwo @UtahDOT

Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Quincey Breur said the occupants of the vehicle involved reported minor injuries.

UDOT Traffic reported that all lanes were back to regular operation at around 5 p.m. the same day.

Cleared: All lanes open on EB I-80 at US-40, Silver Creek Jct (MP 147), no delays.

What caused the truck to roll is still under investigation at this time.
