Skier dies at private resort in Peterson

PETERSON, UTAH — A 38-year-old man died Sunday following a skiing accident at Wasatch Peaks Ranch, a private ski resort. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said the man was at the resort using someone else’s pass to ski.
The sheriff’s office said the man hit a snowbank and died as a result.
Police have the man’s identification but said they would not release his name at this time.
The case will now go to the Office of the Medical Examiner.
