Dixie Springs Fire in southern Utah fully contained

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah — A fire started up Monday night in southern Utah and was fully contained by Tuesday afternoon.
According to Utah Fire Info, the Dixie Springs Fire threatened at least 50 homes but no evacuations were been issued.
Utah Fire Info said high winds pushed the fire and that the fire was burning grass in the area.
Resources from Hurricane, St. George, and the Bureau of Land Management responded to the scene Monday night.
By 12:14 p.m. Tuesday, Utah Fire Info said the fire was contained and said it had affected 614 acres.

Fire officials said that the fire was human-caused and is still being investigated.
