SALT LAKE CITY — This weekend, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host its 193rd Semiannual General Conference

The Church welcomes everyone to attend the event and hear inspiring messages of hope and renewal from living prophets and apostles. The conference is scheduled for Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

Session tickets will double as free public transit passes for in-person attendees.

KSL NewsRadio will carry all five sessions live on 102.7 FM and 1160 AM, or via the KSL NewsRadio app.  The sessions will also stream live at kslnewsradio.com.

Here is a preview of KSL NewsRadio’s weekend programming during General Conference weekend.

Saturday, Sept. 30

9:30 a.m. — General Conference introduction, with KSL host Maria Shilaos

10:00 a.m. — Saturday morning session

12:00 p.m — Maui Strong: Seeking and giving solace amid the Maui wildfires, by Church News reporter Mary Richards

1:00 p.m. — Dieting by Design: Fads, trends, and the body image battle, by KSL hosts Dave Noriega and Debbie Dujanovic

2:00 p.m. — Saturday afternoon session

4:00 p.m. — Navigating the new age of online dating, hosted by KSL reporter Aimee Cobabe

5:00 p.m. — The Webs We Weave: The psychology of lying, by KSL hosts Dave Noriega and Debbie Dujanovic (This hour previously aired in April 2023)

6:00 p.m. — Saturday evening session

7:30 p.m. — The Church News podcast special – Faith, Family & Football: A conversation with Coach Bronco Mendenhall and Sheri Dew, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer for Deseret Management Corporation, KSL’s parent company

Sunday, Oct. 1

8:00 a.m. — A Woman’s View with KSL host Amanda Dickson – Two well-known Utah women of faith speak with Amanda

9:00 a.m. — After It All

10:00 a.m. — Sunday morning session

12:00 p.m. — The Quest for Peace by KSL host Boyd Matheson

1:00 p.m. — Stranger becomes neighbor: Welcoming refugees, one person at a time, hosted by KSL Podcasts reporter and producer Andrea Smardon

2:00 p.m. — Sunday afternoon session

KSL NewsRadio will podcast all the sessions and special programming where you can listen on your favorite podcast platform. Just search “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints General Conference Podcast” or visit the KSL Podcast site.

According to the Church’s website, “All conference sessions will be streamed live on the live broadcasts page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org in more than 70 languages.” You can also watch from the General Conference YouTube channel.
