Golden State Warriors assistant coach dies following medical emergency

SALT LAKE CITY — Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević has died after suffering a medical emergency last night. The news comes after a game between the Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors was postponed Wednesday.
According to KSL Sports, the Warriors said Dejan Milojević suffered a medical emergency during dinner Tuesday night and had to be hospitalized.
Later on Wednesday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the 46-year-old coach’s death.
Golden State assistant coach Dejan Milojevic had died. Milojevic, 46, was hospitalized Tuesday in SLC in critical condition. After a decorated 15-year playing/coaching career, the Serbian native joined Warriors staff in 2021. He was a beloved figure in global and league circles.
