SALT LAKE CITY –In a world where the dollar store charges $1.25 and where the dollar menu costs more than a dollar, you have every right to complain about inflation.

Though they might not get McDonald’s, the rich pay more for food. And the filthy rich are also grappling with inflation.

For instance, if you want a taco, you hit the Bell and grab a Crunchwrap Supreme.

But if you’re a billionaire you might opt for a private jet to Cabo San Lucas where you can enjoy the $25,000 Grand Velas taco.

Of course, it’s made with Kobe beef, beluga caviar and black truffle brie served on a corn tortilla infused with gold flake. The exotic salsa is made from dried Morita chili pepper, ultra premium tequila and exclusive civet coffee beans.

After you lick the gold flakes off your teeth, you can order another, proud that you just enjoyed the most expensive entree on earth.

But not for long.

Set to shatter the record is a dish to be prepared by Michelin-star Chef Rasmus Munk.

But it’s not what he whips up, it’s where.

For this meal will be served to space tourists, aboard a gigantic balloon. Set to sail beyond the stratosphere next year.

This balloon will carry eight passengers so high that when they look out the window, they’ll see the entire state of Florida.

And when the sun rises over the curvature of the earth, dinner will be served.

The menu hasn’t even been decided but for the privilege of enjoying the most expensive meal in the world, each person aboard will pay $495,000.

Or… you could skip the trip and pick up about 90,000 Crunchwrap Supremes.
