Man who died at Millcreek TRAX station identified

SALT LAKE CITY — The man who died in a fatal incident Thursday night at the Millcreek TRAX station has been identified as Edgar Juarez-Santana, 23.
According to Carl Arky with the Utah Transit Authority, Juarez-Santana died after being transported to the hospital in critical condition. He was hit by a northbound, blue line TRAX train at 2950 South, 200 West.
Arky said no other injuries were reported.
There was a bus bridge in place between the Central Point and Meadowbrook TRAX stations at 8:43 p.m. until 10:47 p.m. on Thursday night. That bus bridge has since been ended. UTA has reported that regular TRAX service has resumed to Millcreek Station.
