SALT LAKE CITY — It’s a busy time for Salt Lake City-Utah’s Committee for the Games as they prepare to head to Paris for one final pitch on why we should host the 2034 Olympics.
Hopeful, but humble is how President and CEO of the committee, Fraser Bullock, and his team feel as they prep for Paris.
Over the next two weeks, they will be “polishing up their presentation and finishing up contractual discussions” with the International Olympic Committee, Bullock said.
On Tuesday, July 9 at noon, the Committee for the Games will preview the presentation so Utahns will know what to expect on the big day.

“We’ll be talking about our plan for our presentation, who will be presenting, athletes that’ll be going… So it’s kind of a preview to our final presentation,” Bullock said.
Then, on July 24, Pioneer Day, the committee will get up on stage and give their final pitch before the IOC.
“We will present for about 30 minutes, answer questions, then there will be a vote,” Bullock said.
By around 3 a.m. Mountain Standard Time, we will know if Utah will be officially awarded the 2034 Winter Games.
