SALT LAKE CITY — A 39-year-old man is being held at the Davis County Jail in connection with threats and assault involving  a Utah Transit Authority (UTA) worker.

Police records show that Adam Robin Green was jailed on Saturday. The situation began when a UTA host approached Green as they both rode the UTA Frontrunner. The host reportedly tried multiple times to speak to Green about wearing a mask and turning down his music. Police say Green became agitated toward the UTA host and threatened to kill her.

Green got off of Frontrunner at the Clearfield station according to a police affidavit.

A police officer with the Utah Transit Authority, Officer Bryant Adams, was dispatched to the Clearfield Frontrunner station where he approached Green and where he says Green became agitated and threatened him several times.

Officer Adams was joined by a Clearfield police officer and together, according to the police affidavit, the two were able to get Green handcuffed and into a police car.

While in the car, Green was able to move his hands from behind his back and he was removed from the car so that the officers could restrain him again. This was followed by more threats made by Green, according to police, and attempts by Green to strike the officers.

A search of Green’s person found drug paraphernalia, Officer Adams wrote in his report. Green was booked at the Davis County Jail.

He was booked on charges of assault, assault against a police officer, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
