WASATCH FRONT, Utah — Several Utah ski resorts have announced further out closing dates thanks to an extra snowy February.

This includes Snowbasin, Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort.

“Ski resorts will stay open as long as they’re able to, in many cases,” said Alison Palmintere, Director of Communications for Ski Utah., director of communications for Ski Utah. “As long as the skiing is good and it’s enjoyable for everyone and they’re able to safely remain open.”

Palmintere spent the day on Friday taking advantage of the beautiful spring skiing conditions.

“I can tell you the skiing is great!  Especially with these nice warm days.  It’s typical, iconic, Utah spring skiing,” said Palmintere.
