SALT LAKE CITY — Ever heard of Sabrina Carpenter? She’s a blond pop star, 25 years old. She had the song of summer, “Espresso.”

Her songs are less than earthshaking but more than danceable. She’s, you know, a cute pop star. And she may end up putting the mayor of New York City in federal prison.

The mayor of America’s largest city was indicted, arraigned and arrested last week for allegedly allowing the Turkish Government to move their New York consulate to a building that didn’t meet the fire code. It was unsafe, but in they moved.

In return, the mayor was given first-class plane tickets and five-star hotel stays all over the world — courtesy of the Turks. An alleged bribe worth 100 grand — which the feds would never have known about if not for Sabrina Carpenter.

It all started when Carpenter shot a music video for a song in a Catholic Church in Brooklyn. It’s called “Feather,” it’s a breakup song. In the video, the starlet wiggles on the altar wearing a micromini tutu.

The Monsignor of the church got demoted over the video, prompting the feds to poke around this clergyman’s many homes where they noticed some questionable connections to Mayor Eric Adams. So they went digging and struck paydirt.

Now the mayor of New York might walk the plank.

With all that swirling, Sabrina Carpenter performed at Madison Square Garden Sunday night. The songstress, considered a lightweight, couldn’t resist.

“Should we talk about how I got the mayor indicted?” She asked her crowd.

She’s not wrong.
