“Ms. [Rachel] Bradshaw has been teaching English at American Fork High School for over 11 years. Her love of teaching goes well beyond the classroom as she dedicates her life to teaching, supporting, and uplifting her students. Not only does she spend her day preparing AP students for college, but she also teaches the Credit Recovery and Mentoring (CRAM) students, which gives students that are behind in credits an opportunity to catch up and graduate. Her classroom wall is absolutely covered with pictures and announcements of her former students as they graduate and move on in life doing many great things. What an inspiration to her current students!

Outside of the classroom, she is often found running around (literally) following her son and many of her students as they compete in cross-country running all over the state and beyond. In November, her dedication pushed her to drive 10 hours to Phoenix to support the American Fork High Varsity team as they competed in cross-country regionals, in which they took first place. She drove 10 hours there, watched the race for 15 minutes, then had to turn right back around and drive 10 hours back so she could be back in school Monday morning to teach her students. To have a teacher that is as compassionate, caring, and dedicated as Rachel is amazing!”
