Gas leak leads to evacuation of Roy neighborhood, now resolved

ROY, Utah — According to Roy City Police, a natural gas leak has caused an evacuation of a Roy neighborhood. The leak has since been resolved.
A closure of 5600 South was closed while the leak was being fixed.
In a Facebook post, police confirmed a leak in the area of 2700 West and 5600 South resulted in an evacuation of a three-block radius.
UPDATE: The gas line has been repaired. 5600 S. is now open.

No injuries were reported according to Sgt. Taylor.
