Ogden structure fire under investigation, Ogden City Fire Department says

OGDEN — A structure fire in Ogden occurred early Friday morning. The Ogden City Fire Department said the cause is still under investigation.
According to a press release from the OCFD, the fire happened at a warehouse on 2900 Wall Ave.
The OCFD said 24 firefighters responded to the scene, all from the Ogden City Fire Department, and the Riverdale City Fire Department
The fire was contained, as the fire crews evacuated the building staff, according to the press release.
The press release stated that the building received an estimated $100,000 in fire damages.
Deputy Fire Chief Michael Slater said the cause of the fire is being investigated by the Ogden Fire
Marshal’s Office.
“We are grateful for the rapid and coordinated response that helped protect the business and the
surrounding community,” Slater said.
