SALT LAKE CITY — Okay, so Donovan Mitchell’s dunk against the Dallas Mavericks happened over a whole day ago, and in today’s social media world, a day may feel like it happened last week. However, the dunk was so good that the reactions were still coming in the following day.
We could show you all the fans and how much they enjoyed it. Which, trust us, they did.
On Dr. Dunkenstein bobble head night @spidadmitchell does this!! #salute #louisville #shookones @SCtop10plays https://t.co/6XREWiM61I

What about the players’ reactions too? Well, they were just as excited or mesmerized by the dunk as well. Rookie Luka Doncic for the Mavericks could only look on.

Usually on a nice dunk you’ll see the team’s bench stand up and celebrate. The Jazz bench sure did, but the facial expressions including from opposing players were priceless.

The Jazz players on the court sure seemed to like it as well. Watch Joe Ingles do a little Jingles dance as he exits out of frame after the vicious slam.
Okay so you have seen plenty of reaction to Donovan Mitchell’s dunk, but have you seen the players reactions? Most probably have, but here is a thread of three Jazz players reaction. First Joe Ingles doing a Jingles Dance. #TeamIsEverything pic.twitter.com/Z80V8X9O2e

Rudy Gobert got in on the celebration as well. Is that an airplane going in reverse, Rudy? It does seem like we saw a Spida fly.
Rudy Gobert with a, well I can only assume a backwards airplane as he watched Donovan take flight. pic.twitter.com/PGJJ1nq9Wd

And finally Jae Crowder. His reaction is priceless too because his is more of a “What did I just witness?” kind of look.
Finally Jae with near the Jazz bench with a “what in the world did I just see?” I think Jazz fans needed a win, but I also believe they needed this dunk. #teamiseverything #takenote pic.twitter.com/VN0txZUdvD

Yes, Donovan Mitchell has had spectacular dunks, and will probably continue to add to his list of impressive dunks in the future, but it is just what the doctor ordered for fans after a four-game skid: to watch the Jazz win and to see another Spida Dunk.
Who had the best dunk last night: @Double0AG, @spidadmitchell, or @Dsabonis11? #TheStarters debate. pic.twitter.com/vlRW61U5yX

Jazz will host the Boston Celtics and possibly see the return of Gordon Hayward to the Beehive State. Tip-off is set for 7:30 P.M.
