Pedestrian in critical condition after truck collision in West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, Utah — Police say a truck hit a pedestrian in West Jordan early Friday morning, leaving the man in critical condition.
Pedestrian crash injures man in West Jordan
West Jordan PD received a call around 1 a.m. about a male who was hit by a truck. Police say they found him in critical condition when they arrived at the scene, near 7100 South 700 West. He is now stable at the hospital.
The driver of the suspect drove away after the crash, but police say they found the suspect soon thereafter.
West Jordan police say they continue to investigate the driver. They did not identify him but described him as being in his mid-30s.
