Update: Search and Rescue retrieves hiker from Bridal Veil Falls

PROVO CANYON, Utah — A search and Rescue operation was underway at Bridal Veil Falls on December 26.
According to Sgt. Spencer Cannon with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, a 29-year-old male hiker, fell approximately 40 feet around 11:09 a.m.
Cannon says the hiker is conscious and breathing but not alert. Along with this, he has no serious injuries.
Officials on the scene told KSL NewsRadio the hiker is on his way to the hospital.
Provo Fire and Utah County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue were on the scene.
