Bruce Hough qualifies for Republican Primary ballot

SALT LAKE CITY — The state elections office announced Wednesday that businessman Bruce Hough has qualified for the Republican Primary ballot after submitting the required amount of signatures.
Hough is currently running to replace Congressman Chris Stewart, R-Utah, who currently represents Utah’s 2nd Congressional District.
According to the Bruce Hough for Congress website, Hough served several years as the National Committeeman for the Republican National Committee. He is also a former South Jordan City Council member.
The campaign site also outlines careers in several fields, noting that he worked in journalism for a time, including as an editor and anchor for KSL NewsRadio in the late 70s. Hough has also worked for and founded several companies throughout his professional life.
Hough joins Celeste Maloy and Becky Edwards on the Republican Primary ballot.
